What the manual says: "Known as as 'Dream Chaser,' Rudy has wandered across the vast wastelands of his world searching for a place to belong. Though he is only at the innocent age of 15, he has the makings of a great warrior. Skilled in the use of weapons of mass destruction (known as ARMs) of Filgaia's forgotten ancient civilzations, Rudy often escapes trouble through his superior firepower. Rudy was last seen working in the frontier village of Surf."
What I say: Not much is actually clear about Rudy's personality since he has only one line that's not stock diagloue (he has three lines in the entire game! Three! Not one!), but there are some clear things. One, he's very protective of his friends, particularly Cecilia. Two, he seems to be quite determined, since even though he's been through so much, he never gave up hope. The one line he does have can mean he's one of to things, excuciatingly shy ("I'm sorry! Alright! It'll never happen again! Please don't hurt me!") or a bit of a smart ass ("I'm sorry! Alright! It'll never happen again! Sheesh, ya save someone's life and they act like a friggin' jerk after the fact!") I personally prefer the more smart-ass interpretation, but either way, I think he's just so cute and cuddlyIwannhughimandsqueezehimandtell himeverything'llbeOK... *ahem!* Excuse my little ramble, but look at him! Is he not adorable?! I don't care if he's not human, he's just too darn cute! *Pulls Rudy onto the page and hugs the living crap outta him* ^___^

"Let me know if you hear of a good adventure." (If you have Jack talk to him before meeting Emma for the first time...)
"Hey, I'm sorry! Alright! It won't happen again!" (In Volcannon Trap)

Notes: Watch out for his ARMs! Last of the artifical lifeforms know as the "Holmcross", who were created ages ago to fight the Metal Demons, but were killed off after becoming too violent.
